I have always lived within a few miles of the sea and love that it is a very tangible demonstration of earth’s changing moods. My work and study has also added a realisation of the importance of the sea for ecology, community and transportation amongst many other things.
Much of my spare time is taken up organising and carrying out conservation activities, including litter pick events in both Aberdeenshire and Cumbria. I enjoy running, hillwalking and photography. I am also a qualified dry stone waller. I want the coast to be appreciated and utilised by as many user groups as possible. I hope the partnership can highlight the value of this coast and that it can thrive in a sustainable way.
