On Saturday 5th August 2023, EGCP attended the Collieston Gala. Lauren Dunkley and David R. Green looked after the EGCP stand at the event to help make more people aware about the great work of EGCP.  We had a very good display on hand and highlighted our TTPT beach cleans and the Discover Maps Project merchandise.

We were visited by none other than Professor Pete Smith - who introduces our Discover Maps video - a number of other people from the University of Aberdeen - and the parents of a student I had taught way back in the days of the Marine and Coastal Resource Management (MCRM) Degree Programme - who had the adjacent stand to us.

For me the day was rounded off with an excellent and very tasty Gala burger which was a great reward at the end of the day!
